Please read these terms carefully before using the MowGul platform and booking services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the MowGul platform (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MowGul Inc ("MowGul", "we", "us", or "our"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Services
MowGul is a technology platform that connects users seeking lawn care services ("Customers") with independent lawn care professionals ("Providers"). MowGul facilitates the booking, scheduling, and payment for these services but relies on independent Providers to perform the actual lawn care work.
Platform Role
MowGul acts as an intermediary. While we vet our Providers to ensuring high standards, the agreement for lawn care services is ultimately between the Customer and the Provider.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. By creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the security of your password and account details
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
4. Booking and Payments
Estimates & Pricing
Quotes provided through the Platform are based on the information provided (e.g., lot size, service type). Final pricing is subject to verification by the Provider upon arrival. If the scope of work differs significantly from the description, the Provider may adjust the price, subject to your approval.
Payment Terms
- •You agree to pay all charges applicable to your booking, including any applicable taxes and fees.
- •Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor.
- •A booking fee may apply to secure your appointment. This fee is credited towards your final service cost upon completion.
5. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans change. You may cancel or reschedule your service request through the Platform:
- •More than 24 hours before: Full refund or rescheduling at no cost.
- •Less than 24 hours before: A cancellation fee may apply to compensate the Provider for their reserved time.
Weather-related cancellations determined by the Provider will not incur any fees.
6. Property Access and Safety
To ensure successful service delivery, you agree to:
- Provide safe and clear access to the service area (e.g., unlock gates)
- Remove pets, toys, and other obstacles from the lawn prior to service
- Ensure all irrigation heads and hidden objects are marked or communicated
7. Liability & Disclaimers
Platform Disclaimer: The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". MowGul makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation of the Platform.
Service Liability: MowGul is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform or services provided by independent Providers. Providers are independent contractors and are solely responsible for their work and any damage caused during service.
8. Intellectual Property
The MowGul name, logo, and all related content on the Platform are the exclusive property of MowGul Inc and its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from the Platform without our prior written permission.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
